Welcome to WisdomSay. By downloading, installing, or using the WisdomSay mobile application (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
WisdomSay is a cultural wisdom and proverb discovery app. It provides proverbs from 107 cultures, audio narration, language breakdowns, cultural share cards, wisdom challenges, and educational content about historical thinkers. The App is designed for educational and personal enrichment purposes.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.
Some features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as needed.
You may not create accounts for the purpose of abusing leaderboards, impersonating others, or disrupting the experience for other users.
Free Tier: The App offers free access to a limited number of proverbs per region, daily wisdom, streaks, and basic features.
Wisdom Keeper (Premium): A paid subscription that unlocks all proverbs, audio narration, language breakdowns, premium themes, widgets, offline access, share frames, wisdom duels, and wisdom circles.
Subscription Terms:
Free Trial: If offered, the free trial provides full premium access for a limited period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and you will be charged.
Lifetime Access: A one-time purchase that grants permanent access to all premium features available at the time of purchase.

Our Content: The App's design, code, branding, share card frames, themes, cultural explanations, language breakdowns, and audio narrations are the intellectual property of WisdomSay. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
Proverbs: Traditional proverbs belong to the cultural heritage of their respective peoples. Our original contributions include curated translations, explanations, cultural context, and audio narrations.
Sharing: You are encouraged to share proverb cards generated by the App for personal, non-commercial use. Sharing must include proper attribution to the source culture.
The App uses third-party services including Firebase (Google), RevenueCat, and Apple's App Store. Your use of the App is also subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Cultural content is presented for educational purposes. Translations and interpretations are our best effort and may not reflect every nuance of the original language or culture. We welcome corrections from native speakers.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WisdomSay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen within the App or by emailing us. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days. Active subscriptions must be canceled separately through your Apple ID settings.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are between you and WisdomSay only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the App. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
